Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour
Upon your arrival at the Cusco airport, our travel agency staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the city.
You’ll have free time in the morning to rest and begin acclimatizing to the altitude.
Afternoon: City Tour in Cusco
- We’ll begin with a visit to the Cathedral of Cusco, located in the main square.
- From there, we walk to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), where Inca and Spanish cultures merge.
- We then head out of the city to visit the impressive archaeological sites of:
- Sacsayhuamán
- Qenqo
- Pukapukara
- Tambomachay
After the tour, we return to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour + Night in Machupicchu Town
After breakfast, our transport will pick you up from your hotel in central Cusco. (If you’re staying outside the center, please coordinate additional transfer with your travel agent.)
Highlights of the day:
- Taray Viewpoint for stunning panoramic photos of the Sacred Valley
- Guided tour of Pisac Archaeological Site
- Visit to Pisac Artisan Market
- Buffet lunch in Urubamba at a local restaurant
- Guided visit to Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site
After the tour, we go to the train station in Ollantaytambo and board the train to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes) — a scenic journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Upon arrival, our staff will escort you to your hotel. That evening, you’ll have a briefing with your guide to prepare for the visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 3: Full Day Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
After breakfast at your hotel, we head to the bus station to board the shuttle to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
- Enter the citadel and begin a guided tour of approx. 2 hours, visiting key sites such as temples, terraces, and viewpoints.
- After the tour, take the return bus to Aguas Calientes.
- Lunch in town at a local restaurant.
- Board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where private transport will be waiting.
- Transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 4: Humantay Lake Full-Day Tour
Today we depart very early in the morning, skipping hotel breakfast.
- Transfer to Mollepata, where we stop for breakfast.
- Continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
- The hike to Humantay Lake takes approx. 1 hour.
- Along the way, our guide will explain the natural and cultural significance of the surroundings.
- At the lake, enjoy free time for photos and guided interpretation.
- Return to Soraypampa for lunch.
- After lunch, we return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Tour
Another early morning departure — we leave the hotel before breakfast.
- Transfer to Cusipata (approx. 2 hours)
- Breakfast in Cusipata
- Continue by vehicle for 1 more hour to the start of the hike
- Hike to Rainbow Mountain (1 to 1.5 hours)
- Enjoy panoramic views and take photos at the Vinicunca 7-Color Mountain
- Return hike and transfer back to Cusipata for lunch
- After lunch, return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel
Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 6: Departure Day
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy free time until your airport transfer.
At the scheduled time, our staff will pick you up and accompany you to the airport.

Altitude Acclimatization
We recommend a few hours of rest upon arrival in Cusco to adapt to the altitude.
