At Hotel Humantay Machupicchu, we are comitted to providing a clear and reliable service for all our guests. Below are our official reservation policies to ensure a smooth and well-organized experience.
1. Reservation Confirmation
- All reservations are officially confirmed via email or written message from the hotel, once we have received the guest’s required information.
- During high season, holidays, or special events, we may request a 50% deposit of the total booking amount to guarantee the reservation.
2. Payment Policies
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, Yape, Plin, credit card, or in cash upon check-in.
- For reservations without a deposit, written confirmation is recommended at least 48 hours before arrival to keep the room held.
- The remaining balance must be paid at the time of check-in.
3. Date Changes
- Requests to change the reservation date must be sent via email or WhatsApp.
- Changes are accepted up to 7 days before the original check-in date, subject to availability.
- Modifications made after this period may be treated as cancellations.
4. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations more than 7 days in advance: 80% refund of the deposit (20% retained as an administrative fee).
- Cancellations between 6 and 3 days before arrival: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations within 72 hours or no-show: No refund.
- Guests may request to use their deposit for a new date (within 3 months), subject to availability.
5. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: From 11:00 a.m.
- Check-out: Until 10:00 a.m.
- Early check-in (before 11:00 a.m.) and late check-out (after 10:00 a.m.) are subject to availability and may incur an extra charge.
- We offer free luggage storage before check-in or after check-out upon request.
6. Children Policy
- Children 0 to 5 years old stay free when sharing the bed with parents (maximum one child per room).
- Children aged 6 and older are charged the full rate.
- Extra beds may be available for an additional fee and must be requested in advance.
7. Guest Conduct & Responsibility
- Guests are expected to care for the hotel facilities and follow our internal rules.
- In case of damage (e.g. stained linens, broken items, damaged equipment), the hotel reserves the right to charge a repair or replacement fee.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms. A cleaning fee will apply for violations.
